Science Writer

The Science Writer will write one short (500-1000 word) article on a topic of their interest in the field of ageing and longevity every 2 weeks. For example, the article could be a summary/analysis/viewpoint related to a paper the Science Writer has read, or an article about some other significant event in the field (e.g., the establishment of a company focused on ageing research, etc.). The article will be in included in the biweekly Society newsletter, on the Society website, and could be featured on social media. If the Science Writer would like, they could also write more than one article every 2 weeks – one article is just the minimum contribution that is required. The role would be a good fit for someone who generally follows the field and is enthusiastic about it, and wouldn’t mind writing a bit about the areas that most interest them. Previous writing experience is not a prerequisite, but it may help your application.
